What I am seeing happen in my life now is nothing short of a miracle. I am so fired up about my business and my life, anew. I feel so powerful and excited and interested, again.

When my friend Laura told me about Connect Realty, she didn’t push. She didn’t recruit. She talked about how satisfied she is working for her new company, and she explained that she is building her business and team with attraction and flow.

What is exciting now is that when anyone joins your team at Connect Realty, you earn 5% of all of their commissions for life. And, each realtor still receives a flat 80-20 split regardless of whether one person or 1,000 have joined their team. Then I think about my aunt. She is an appraiser, and she retired from a big bank and now appraises on occasion. She would be a perfect candidate for retirement — real estate license, invite friends to join, relax and go to Venice and Kauai and everywhere else my aunt loves to travel.

In this spirit of excitement, joy, and pure energy of being on the right path — others are coming to me and asking me about my new company. I am being asked to describe what I like about it and why I chose it. This feels great! I am so happy I chose Connect Realty (www.connectrealty.com/attraction) that I can honestly beam that truth without any concerns.

This to me brings up a greater learning. When MLM works at its highest level (building teams, then encouraging your team to build new teams, then fostering success from everyone who joins you) it is helpful to feel this pure sense of rush and joy around your company or product. When you honestly trust and adore and respect your company and your product, you won’t have to “try” so hard. People just see that in you and want to know more. It’s natural. And it could be your company or product will help them, too.

The Law of Attraction says that like attracts like. To become the most amazing realtor you can imagine becoming, begin to feel that you have already achieved that status. What is exciting about this process is that in focusing your pure energy on becoming an amazing realtor, you may find out a lot about yourself.

The process – of focusing your energy with clarity about what you want to become – is a journey that has the power to change your life forever. Popular culture is beginning to embrace the concept of taking responsibility for your experience.

If you wish to sell upwards of $20 million in homes or property each year, own that wish. Love that wish. Love everything around that wish. Begin to talk about yourself in ways that say it is OK to be a hugely successful real estate mogul. You’ve come to learn about the Law of Attraction – and how you can practically invoke the century-old system of becoming that wish you desire to become. 

This is an exciting journey ahead of you. You have the power to become a top 1 percent realtor in the United States. Begin to learn and model yourself to already be that idea of yourself that has delivered to you the desire. In the seed of the desire to be the very best realtor in your community – or in your state – or in the country, lies the potential for this to happen.  

Take note of where you resonate. Do you want to be a moderately successful realtor where you have a few transactions every month, and life is comfortable? Or do you want to have 85 listings at any given time with all moving towards close of escrow effortlessly with a team of six assistants operating like a well-oiled machine? Begin to figure out where your true dream lies. I would like to guide you to practical applications of activities and meditations that you can do every day to move into your future so that suddenly you may find yourself on the stage, sharing with other realtors how you became great so quckly.  

As you embark upon this journey, you may find yourself drawn to teachers, seminars, CD sets and books that will make your path to victory come more easily. The internet has made so much information available at your fingertips. When you want something, it will happen and it will happen so quickly you may be shocked, surprised or blown away by the strength and power of your vision becoming reality so fast. Be open to connecting with excellent instructors who will show you innovative ways to step up your own performance and productivity. 

Remember that the business you are building is your own business. Be your own boss, be your own guide. Only practice activities in building your business that you feel good about. Do you want to e-mail your clients? Build your business in connection with the internet. Do you prefer phone calls? Do you prefer face-to-face interactions? Hold open houses and meet people face-to-face, all the time. Really get into face-to-face opportunities. Hold classes for new home buyers. Go door-to-door.  Do you like writing personalized letters and creating newsletters? Great! Make the most amazing newsletters ever and share them with all of your friends, and be hungry for new addresses so that you can send more newsletters. A stamp is pretty cheap compared to a commission. 

The Law of Attraction and deliberately creating the life you want is practical, magical and when you fall into understanding how your own state of being gently crafts your future – it’s all so easy, you can’t even imagine how much fun and joy you will find your work and your life becoming.

I look at the progression of my career. I started at an old-fashioned, strong, top-ranking bricks and mortar company with a strong, father-figure broker who ran the show and called the shots. He encouraged and also it was “his way” that ran the day. I liked the color blue, the logo, the brand, and I really liked the location of the office. I went in with a 50-50 split that was going to move to 60-40 “soon.”

A newer company recruited me. That was a great four years. I went in as #17 in a wonderful office that grew to 170, the company tripled to over 80,000 agents during that time span. The office struggled to be profitable, but the people were warm and caring. This was halfway between bricks and mortar and Connect Realty (my future). There was still a complex system of compensation that I still don’t get.

My friend Laura joined Connect Realty, and she is someone I trust and respect. We are early adopters to www.ConnectRealty.com/attraction and we are playing on a global field. The income potential is great, the agent runs his or her own show. The split is 80-20, a far cry from my first company. Agents control their destiny. The VC money pouring into this company is palpable. There are no bricks, no mortar and the company is virtual as far as a physical office.

I look at Law of Attraction and figure like attracts like. It will be a lot of fun being with this company as it triples, triples, and quadruples. Time is not linear. People will flock to this system.

My clients by this time are relatively oblivious to my choice of company, they come to me for my expertise, my knowledge of the community, and my insight into the real estate environment. Get very clear about what you would like your article to do, before you write it. Before you even put words to the page, imagine the finest results you could ever experience happening as a result of your article.With these eight Law of Attraction article marketing strategies, you are going to experience more results in less time from all of your efforts.Law of Attraction article marketing strategy #1: Imagine your article before it is written. Make notes to yourself about some excellent outcomes. What do you want your article to accomplish? What would be amazing? Take a few moments to identify what you would like the article to do. What is its job?

Law of Attraction article marketing strategy #2: Think bigger about your article. This is powerful. Can your article be turned into anything else that would do something to reach more people with the content? Perhaps your article is an e-book waiting to be born? Have you considered making a You Tube video of your article? You can also pick up a free tele-conference phone number online, call into the number and press “record” and record an MP3 of your voice reading your article. All you need is a telephone and you can turn your article into an MP3 for your website. Are you thinking big enough?

Law of Attraction article marketing strategy #3: Be clear on the reader you would like to attract with your article. Who is your reader? Are you clear on your perfect reader? When you focus on writing to reach a reader — for instance, readers I would love this story to reach would be article writers who are interested in the Law of Attraction and are seeking some practical ways to integrate it into their lives. I will be honest, I would also like people to be attracted to classes I teach on this topic and the book that I wrote on moving the Law of Attraction into action.

Law of Attraction article marketing strategy #4: How do you want to be perceived? Are you clear about what you would like people to think when they think about you? Is this being communicated in the content of your article? In the resource box at the end of the article? Is the way you would like to be perceived even taken into consideration? Get clear on what you would like people to think about you as the author of the article you are writing.

Law of Attraction article marketing strategy #5: Now that you have clarity on the outcomes that would be amazing, open your heart to receive. Opening to receive the benefits from helping people with your article will allow your article to be shared more widely. As you open your heart and mind to something happening that you had not considered — you open yourself to the wide range of successful outcomes that are possible.

Law of Attraction article marketing strategy #6: Focus on your mindset before taking the time to write. Who are you being when you are creating the article? Who are you? Is this the “you” you wish to share? What is your mindset? You cannot believe how easy it is to check out a person’s mindset as he or she is communicating about his or her ideas.

Are you being thoughtful? Intelligent? Fearful? Paranoid? Spiteful? Sad? Enthusiastic? Fake? Most people have strong detectors for the feelings behind the words. It is just like when someone calls you, you know if they are having a good day, if they are in “rote” repeat mode or if they are genuinely interested in you. Who are you being? If you are content with who you are being, get to writing now. Stop and write an article! If you are feeling great, stop and write an article! If you feel like yesterday’s newspaper that got left on the front steps and is soggy with rain, you might want to stop and get into a different state of mind before writing. Mindset is perceived by all. Be clear on who you are being.

Law of Attraction article marketing strategy #7: Once the article is published, promote it with more fervor. Don’t let it sit. Enjoy the opportunities that may show up to communicate the content of your article more widely. Ask for opportunities. When you ask, things show up. When you don’t ask, life is a lot more quiet. Do not be afraid to ask for opportunities.

Law of Attraction article marketing strategy #8: Have fun. I’ll say that again. Don’t forget to have fun. Don’t get bogged down on the results of any one article. Just have fun with it. I do.

 When your focus is on being an inspiration — life moves along so smoothly. When I became completely focused on the inspiration to move my real estate license over to Connect Realty (www.connectrealty.com/attraction) the Law of Attraction allowed a completely smooth and nearly effortless transition.

Instead of stress, my shift from another real estate company (starts with a K) to Connect Realty was flawless. I went online, followed “sign me up” steps and within a few moments I received my web site (www.ConnectRealty.com/attraction) and ability to share with friends and colleague the news of the move. I sent in my license information, let my former broker know, and now set about being focused on the future.

As a success coach, I see others lag between beliefs, ideas and actions. Clients will have an idea for themselves, and then resist that idea. I see people slowly “get” the change that inspiration let them know was critical for them to blossom. Then there is a lag time where they resist the idea of their own greatness.

Ultimately when the clients stay focused on their own light, I notice that they will adjust to the earlier inspiration and shift into the light of their own being.

This time, the inspiration showed up and I listened to it and moved very quickly. I was uncomfortable somewhat at moving quickly into my next “being” and identity.

What this reminds me of is the basketball games that you play inside arcades. You play and the best way to win is to keep playing. Keep shooting. Stay connected. Play and shoot and if you miss a few, just keep taking shots. Taking shots is the only way to make the hoops. As we move into March Madness, I’m taking a few new shots. I’m focused on helping people buy homes, sell homes with inspiration – using the tools of the Law of Attraction. And as I do so, I hope to attract like minded realtors who will be drawn to the light of Connect Realty and all that it offers. Retirement income, a brighter future, and a great way to become enthusiastic about the real estate profession again.

Be Happy

Since ”Prospect When You Are Happy” (my first book) was published, amazing things have happened in my life. Writing again has woken the inspirational aspects of myself left asleep for too long.

As a mom, as a realtor, as a writer, as a success coach, I begin to touch upon the most amazing experiences life could bring. The joy I feel watching my children ice skate. The joy I feel attracting people to my real estate company (www.ConnectRealty.com/attraction). The joy I feel playing with our aussie puppy, JJ. The sweet reality of my family surrounding me with love as I experience the pain of preparing my taxes this year. Just as I break through a dozen barriers to my success, I go into total breakdown around tracking finances. Just as I experience amazing success in the publishing of articles on career transition with Law of Attraction (see the column Working Knowledge at mercurynews.com) I am in overwhelm because two of my children came down with a fever.

The bitter, the sweet, the most amazing experiences life can bring. I invite the contrast, the interesting ways my life is unfolding to bring joy and sorrow, sunshine and rain.
